In my next post I am planning to share with you some photographs from our recent road trip from Italy to the UK but meanwhile I was loading my recent photos to Flickr today and I realised that these sunsets are just too beautiful not to post here.
Gaze at these for a few minutes and you will I hope appreciate the marvel of nature. They were all taken from home over three consecutive days this week.

This last and most recent sunset is my favourite from this selection.
Have a great weekend everyone, where ever you are in the world.
All of these photos are just beautiful Linda. I would love to see a beautiful sunset around here, but it's going to be a while - it's snowy and gray here in Michigan!
ReplyDeleteLovely, Linda. Sunsets always make me pause in wonder...and consider my little place in this huge universe!
ReplyDeleteThey just get better and better. Good to have you back. Diane
ReplyDeleteYou're right, those certainly are amazing sunsets. I really envy you those! Here for the past few days, it has been dark and dreary and thoroughly miserable. I'm so glad you decided to share those photos with your blogging friends, and I look forward to seeing the ones from your trip to the U.K. Apparently, this coming week the weather is going to get colder again, which, hopefully, will mean that the brightness will come back :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYep, Thursday was my favorite here too. Something definitely fiery going on in the Lazio sky...
ReplyDeleteCiao and again welcome back
E xx
Splendid and my favorite is the last one! So nice to see you popping up on my blog roll again.
ReplyDeleteThat light is so soft - gently magical!
ReplyDeletePatricia@ Thankyou, I so agree with your comments.
ReplyDeleteDiane@ Thanks, I really must get organised and back on BW, maybe with one of these sunsets.
Emily@ and Eleonora@ They do seem to be particularly beautiful at the moment.
Those are wonderful photos. I especially like the first one. I'm so glad you have shared them here.
ReplyDeleteI love ALL of the sunsets and couldn't select just one as a favorite! Well done!!!
ReplyDeleteI just received your comment about the Italian book challenge! I'm leaning toward a non-fiction selection for my first book. I'll let you know the title when I figure it out (or are we not supposed to say anything?). What a great challenge that I am so excited to participate in!
Ciao and do enjoy Italy and Europe! Roz
Gorgeous, goregerous, gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI do not have a good view of the sky from our house. This is the first house that I have lived in where I had to walk down the street to get a good look. Oh well, the walk is good for me, just not as convenient as looking at the sky from my own house.
Be glad, and I am sure you are, that you have the view you do.
Welshcakes@ Thanks for your appreciation :)
ReplyDeleteRoz@ I am happy to have shared them with you. Yes the challenge should be fun, I think we are supposed to be listing our choices on the blog post but I am not altogether clear. I have sent the title of my January choice to Brighton Blogger.
Ciao! Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteCiao and happy 2011! Such a gorgeous sky! Lovely! Hubby and I spent the holidays back in Italy and could enjoy some sun, finally :) but no nice sunsets or sunrises. Too bad... thanks for sharing your colorful photos :)
ReplyDeleteThe Sweet Life@ Thankyou :)
ReplyDeleteKia@ It was a pleasure to be able to share. I will look forward to hearing all about your trip.

These sunsets are gorgeous! You portray them beautifully with the sense of place.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful color! You always hear about the wonderful light in Italy...and the sunsets are spectacular! ♥
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colours!
ReplyDeleteCiao! Glad to see you are back & enjoyed your trip. Great photos! Thanks for your sweet words. All the best for 2011 for you too. Thanks also for the belated Happy Birthday wishes. I'm happy you enjoyed the movie reviews. Have a great weekend
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful sunset photos. It always amaze me how much colors are in the sky and all different too!
ReplyDeleteJennifer@ The colours were incredible! Thanks for calling by and commenting.
ReplyDeleteThe Sweet Life@ We certainly did, thankyou again.
Icy BC@ Thankyou Nature never ceases to amaze me with her beauty.
