Fiat 500 Commercial - Immigrants - Italy to USA

Italian Advertising Series Number Eight - Fiat 500

It has been ages since I last featured a commercial here for two reasons, firstly I have had so much else to share with you and secondly I suppose nothing interesting has caught my eye!

Well this one I found on YouTube certainly attracted my attention big time. I love everything about it, the cars, the location, which I know some of you will recognise and the advert itself.
Absolutely brilliant. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do and that you are able to view, remember if you have problems, you can visit  YouTube via my link and view there.

  1. This is so sweet! Just like you said, love the car, the location, the music - and the "don't try this at home"- style disclaimer ;-) I want to come to Italy! Now! Have a lovely week xo

  2. Love this. My beloved little car, my much loved part of the country. Finally all those plastic shells of Fiats floating in Amalfi and Praiano this winter are explained.

  3. Tried to play it but gave up half way through as the first bit took ages in leaps and bounds! Diane

What enormous fun and so very, very clever. Having just returned from Italy we are more than ever in love with all things Italian and so, as you may imagine, this post has a very special appeal.

  7. Lol ! the very first car of Mr. G. when he still lived in Italy was a Fiat 500 and it seems to me that the first part of the add was made at the Garda Lake. (where he comes from) My first car was a Fiat 600, type "Bathtube" that's like my friends called it, as each time it rained my feed were under water. One finally made a hole in the floor so the water could get out and then I put a cork on the whole when it was dry. I always had boots in my car !

  9. I am loving all of the Fiat ads here in the U.S.! It has been a long, dry spell without Fiats in the U.S. My family had two of them when I was growing up and it was my very first car when I left home. I love, love, love Fiat and can't wait until I can get another someday! Thanks for stopping by today and I truly appreciate your well wishes for my recovery!

  13. Oh I really liked this and it is the first time I have seen it. I recognise much of the scenery, surely it is Atrani and Amalfi? Even more reason for me to love it! Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

  18. Funny touch when the lobster crawls out from under! Very cute -- and nice music that wouldn't become tiresome as quickly as some.

  19. Love that commercial, and to me, part of that looked llike the amalfi coastline... was it?? I was thinking they just missed their turn driving too fast. Wow, the driving on that coast made my hair stand up....
