Chestnut Festa makes the arrival of autumn bearable! We went with our friends Viv and Nick to the one held in Zepponami, Montefiascone.
We enjoyed Caldarroste Castagna,(Chestnuts roasted in the open fire) Tortucce, (a type of dough that is eaten sprinkled with either salt or sugar). Delicous either wayand Vino Novello to drink, the first of the new seasons wine.
