The next walk that we did involved taking a ride on one of the wonderful Hong Kong Trams to the end of the eastern line, Shau Kei Wan,where I was able to get some interesting photographs of the trams which I am featuring in this post.

  1. How wonderful. I hadn't seen trams for years and years, until I went to Switzerland last year.

  3. Gosh, they're double deckers! I don't think I've ever seen ones like that before. I love how colourful they are.

  4. Anne - Sadly not many places still have trams.

Eleonora - A great way of advertising as well!

Katja - I understand there are very few places in the world with double decker trams.

  5. Ying and I enjoyed looking at your photos from Hong Kong. It brought back many memories of our visits there. It really is an amazing place isn't it! Our son Sam will be leaving for Hong Kong on 12th April. His Cantonese has improved tremendously and he is very excited to go.
We hope you have a Happy Easter,
