I thought you might be interested to see what the lake was looking like yesterday with the strong winds causing rough water.

No passegiata around the lake this time of the year, yes? I remember always making time to take a passegiata, even in the dead of winter. How is it in Marta?
ReplyDeletewow Linda.....it looks sooo different from the warmer seasons......cant wait to get back though!
ReplyDeleteI love this collage so much, Linda. :-) As soon as your page opened I felt my spirits lift and I automatically took a deep breath. Beautiful. :-)

That looks like very angry water. It remind me of a story when I first moved to Johannesburg. I was at the stables of the Veterinary surgery with the african head lad where I worked, when we had quite a strong earth tremor. Having never experienced anything like it before I asked what it was. I was told that God was angry and he was shaking the earth. Maybe he is doing the same to your lake :) Diane
ReplyDeleteWhew, that's some wind you have up there!
ReplyDeleteI love the photo mosaic. How do you do it?
Hugs. Stay warm. Light fireplace. Eat soup.
Whoa, that looks like the ocean not the lake.
ReplyDeleteStill pretty though. I hope no moored boats were damaged.
Amazing photos! We have the same high winds over here at the moment. I trust that you are staying indoors and keeping warm!
ReplyDeleteCarol@ Roll on April.
ReplyDeleteRambling Tart@ Thankyou I am happy the photos lift your spirits.
Diane@ Great story, God must get angry fairly often with us during the winter then and I have seen it rougher!
Eleonora@ Picasa :) Wind has dropped now and off to have a late lunch outside.
How lovely! :)
ReplyDeleteZeno and I might have the chance to visit it in May or June, but just for one day (for Zeno's work).
Kia@ Oh what a shame it will be such a short visit, do you know which town?
ReplyDeleteThose pictures look beautiful - if somewhat cold - and I always find it very calming to take a walk along water... Great pictures. xo
ReplyDeleteNo, not yet. He always found out at the very last minute, usually just one or two days before leaving. It's a shame, I agree. It's such a gorgeous area and I have never seen it yet! :)
ReplyDeleteKia@ They are all delightful in their own way and I have posted about them here, if you want to take a peep. Bolsena, Capodimonte, Marta or Montefiascone.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous photos!
