Patience eventually paid off and I managed to take a photo of the Swallowtail Butterfly in our Lucerne Meadow.

Happiness is for me appreciating the beauty of Nature all around us.

  15. I like butterflies... they are like dreams... when you try to catch them, they fly away! I can't wait to get to Italy, on Monday! We get lots of Red Admirals, there... they appear to be so sleepy but, if you get too close, they quickly go! Nice photo, Lindy! Thank you for sharing "bits" of your life with us!

  18. Always been very envious of people who are able to take pictures of insects! Patience must not be one of my virtues then! ;-)

  21. Apologies for not being around much over the last few days. Have been in a mud strewn field at a festival. Just had to comment on this post, what an amazing photo. I love butterflies to the point where I have a necklace of butterflies (not real ones of course!). Hope all is well with you. x

  22. Beautiful! Thanks for linking up, I'm sure my photography skills could be improved greatly by using more patience. I think patience is a skill I need to practice as much as photography.

    Have a lovely week,
