ReplyDeleteA lovely flower for an English rose!! Jackie.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteThank you soooo much for your nice comments and visit to my blog, Bluebirds and Butterflies, yesterday. I LOVE your photo of the rose. A rose speaks without saying a word.... It says, "I love you, I'm sorry, feel better, happy birthday, happy valentine's day, happy mother's day, congratulations, great job on a performance," and, my favorite... "just because!" I love a beautiful rose! I don't know if you have seen the "knockout" roses. They are so called because they just knock themselves out blooming. I have three of four of these rose bushes in my yard. I'll have to post some photos of them as they are starting to bloom. Your photo is lovely! I love reading your blog. Hope to visit Italy sometime over the next year or two. My son is getting married in November so that is my focus for this year. Italy is on my dream trip list! Have a beautiful day! xoxo Kim
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI visited your Blog today. My daughter, Jess, traveled through Europe a couple of years ago, and she went to Italy. So beautiful, and great food. She went to the Vatican and brought me back some rosary beads that I will cherish always. Me and my daughters just started a new Blog, and would love it if you could support us and become a follower. It will have pictures of the many different places that they have traveled to, places that we attend, and things that bring us happiness. The link is: http://redrosealley.blogspot.com. One of the recent posts is about Greece. I think you'll enjoy the pictures. My astrological sign is Taurus too. I hope you visit us, and have a sweet day.

The rose is a very good welcome. I guess you have had rain. We need rain desperately. Have a nice rest now that you are home.

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful rosebud! So beautiful, it certainly doesn't need any words!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful rose bud. The color is beautiful. I miss my rose bushes at my house in Connecticut. When I bought the house the owner told me she planted them in 1945 when the house was built. And they were still alive and healthy last time I was up there. They are a bright coral color. Keep those pictures coming my friend.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous rose bud!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful Italian rose I can almost smell... perfect!

ReplyDeleteLovely photo. I don't see many roses here in Brisbane and miss the wonderful colours and perfume. This one looks as if it's just about to uncurl. Hope you enjoyed the wedding.
