We have had an absolutely bumper harvest this year and sadly far too many have been wasted if you have viewed Our Garden in September last week you will have seen exactly what I mean!
These photographs are apples from just two more of our trees and we did not strip them completely either, still plenty more on both trees. We have found people to share the apples with but most people already have their own around here. We use them every which way you can think of but I still prefer them fresh from the tree as nature intended.
This last photo has also been posted on Beautiful World a great photography blog that I contribute to on a daily basis if I can, I do hope you will pay us a visit.
Welcome to ‘News From Italy’ to the other participants, thankyou for calling by.
Hi and thanks for all your lovely comments on my blog! I have time shortages lately but I will try and visit more often. Enjoy the apples!

I follow beautiful world now, such amazing shots!
ReplyDeleteI hope that our three apple trees next year will produce a good crop. They had a few this year, but one year older I hope will make a difference. The oldest is only 5 years so I guess I cannot complain. Diane
ReplyDeleteWish I lived close by to help you with the apples. I could pick and eat as well. Love a good sweet apple, and besides they are good for you.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous apples! I wish we had your trees! As it is, I keep buying bag after bag of apples for my girls, but somehow, yours look more delicious!
ReplyDeleteHi there...thanks for your visit to my blog. You do have some lovely apples..do you just eat them or make anything with them? I love apples and eat them everyday! Come say hi any time :D
ReplyDeleteMaureen - It is always lovely to see you here, but I quite understand shortage of time is something we all seem to suffer, especially bloggers.
ReplyDeleteAlessandra - So pleased you are now following BW.
Diane - The apple trees here are really old so I guess you might have to wait a few more years.
LV - Welcome and thanks for commenting, it would be great if I was able to share with all my blogging buddies.
Emily - Fresh from the tree is so much more tempting I agree. Thanks so much for calling by and commenting, it is appreciated. I am enjoying following your latest adventures in Japan.
Julie - A pleasure and thanks for calling by here and commenting, it is appreciated. Eat as many as we can but we have also done just about everything you can do with apples as well, juice, dried, stewed, frozen and in jars. We will have enough to use all winter in various ways.
Wow your apples look delicious! Great photos- and thanks for sharing that photo blog with us, it's wonderful!
