A photo that I actually took five years ago of the Trevi fountain in Roma has been published, along with hundreds of others, in the latest edition of the online guide to Roma produced by Schmap Guides
The photo was used with my prior permission and following Flickr guidelines links back to the original if you click on the photo. I also get credited, hence my five seconds of fame.
My Trevi Fountain Photo click on the link in blue to see my photo on Flickr or cut and paste the link below if clicking on that does not work either.
Five seconds of fame may be not much but I am still chuffed.
Congratulations! How exciting!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Congratulations! And a beautiful image of Trevi. Hope your week is going well. – g
ReplyDeleteHow excellent Linda!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. It is an excellent photo. Diane
ReplyDeleteWell done Linda.I think that is brilliant :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for comment too, I am just using paintshop pro, I edit design how to display, sometimes it is hard, but until I find one I like, I am sticking to it!!
Great!!! Don't forget about us little people, ok??
ReplyDeleteWell!!! I suppose it will cost money to be seen with you now!!! It's a nice photo - you are good at photography. I don't seem to be able to produce a really good picture even with an automatic, does-it-all-for-you, moron-proof camera! Oh well - but I have other talents. My story and I'm sticking to it!
ReplyDeleteMuch love, Maggie xxx
Well done! - I thought your photographs were rather good, and this proves that I am not the only one!
ReplyDeleteLove to you both,
Sarah
Wow! Impressive!
ReplyDeleteI love that fountain. Such fond memories. :)
Aha! I've got one of my pics in Schmap too, but a Hawaii image. Would you consider even more fame? House Hunters International in Italy is casting for their show. Shoot me an email if you're interested. (you've probably already been contacted by them anyway)
ReplyDeleteWell done, thats 5 seconds more fame than most of us ever get. Be proud of yourself.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, I'm learning to use my camera properly with varied results! I've got a Flickr account which has nearly filled up and I'm not sure if I should upgrade - do you think the Pro account is worth it?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I think that's very exciting. It's a great photograph.
ReplyDeleteHow amazing you should post this today-mum and dad are visiting Holly at the moment and then they are on their way to Rome! I asked them to throw a coin in the fountain for me! Well done to you Linda! This really is a fabulous picture!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Natasha.
How cool! Congratulations. It's a beautiful photo and makes me wish I could be there... Love from London x
ReplyDeleteThankyou all so much for your congratulations and comments. It was such a little thing really, but it did rather please me.
ReplyDeleteJade - I replied elsewhere to your question, hope you got it.
Natasha - What karma!
You have been given bragging rights - enjoy! Their selection of your photograph shows their good taste.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mya :)
